Dear Richard Ira Jones Learning Community:
Welcome to the Ira Jones Media Center Web Page, and welcome back to Ira Jones for another wonderful school year!
The Media Center is open from 7:40 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. During this time, students are welcome to visit the Media Center to check in/out materials or to complete research/homework. English/Language Arts teachers have also scheduled bi-weekly visitation times so that students are regularly able to check out and in materials.
As in the past, we hope to have two book fairs this year, one in the fall and one late winter/ early spring. We always wish to give A HUGE thank you to all students, staff and community members who support our Media Center by participating in our Ira Jones book fairs each year.
Additionally, we will continue our tradition of Battle of the Books (more details on this year’s competition to follow).
