Other ways to help during Hunger Action Month:
The pantries also need your time. If you are interested in volunteering, the local food pantries are always in need of assistance. Please reach out to Bags of Hope, the Plainfield Area Interfaith Food Pantry, and St. John Lutheran Church Food Pantry for information on their volunteer opportunities.
Participate in National Hunger Action Day on September 29 and wear orange (the national color of hunger) to show your support.
Help spread the word about Hunger Action Month, the community food drive, and the need for volunteers.
